Bluetooth access needed?
Allow NSTNT to use Bluetooth when prompted. If permission was denied, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth and enable NSTNT. Bluetooth must also be on for scanning.
Why don’t I see a device?
NSTNT can only observe Bluetooth Low Energy signals and connection evidence made available to it by iOS. Not every device advertises continuously, and the app cannot list every system connection. Keep the device nearby and awake, open NSTNT, and start a scan. A missing device does not prove it is disconnected.
Does “nearby” mean connected?
No. Nearby means an advertisement was observed. Connection observations are separate, limited evidence from iOS. Neither identifies a person or proves an attack. NSTNT does not block connections.
How do I learn my own devices?
Use LEARN or Learn my devices, review the candidate, and confirm only devices you recognize. You can review a device and remove trust later. Trust labels record your choice rather than independently verifying ownership.
Why is the AI explanation unavailable?
Explanations require iOS 26, a supported device, Apple Intelligence enabled, and Apple’s on-device model ready to use. Check Apple Intelligence in Settings and try again when the model is available. Bluetooth monitoring still works without explanations.
Why does activity change in the background?
iOS controls when apps can run and which Bluetooth events they receive. Background observations can be limited or delayed, especially after force-quitting. Open NSTNT to check current monitoring status. The app does not promise continuous or complete coverage.
Sharing settings
NSTNT’s Sharing screen guides you to review settings such as AirDrop and NameDrop. Bluetooth status does not reveal those settings to NSTNT; you must review them in iOS.
Remove data or manage a purchase
See data and deletion to remove local records. For purchases made through Apple, use its subscription cancellation or refund guidance. Deleting the app does not cancel billing.
